Khirki invites you to a screening of "Fragments of a Life of Struggle - Episodes 9 & 10" at Research and Publication Centre (RPC) on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
This documentary traces the life and political journey of Rashed Rahman, a Marxist revolutionary from Lahore who be came involved in the Baloch national movement during the 1970s.
In these episodes, Rashed Rahman discusses how the insurgency in Balochistan ended, and his own life after returning to Lahore. He talks about the troubles of readjusting and about what became of the movement after his departure. The episodes further shed light on the circumstances of the Baloch movement from the 1980s to the early 2000s and the birth of a new insurgency in 2002.
